Services and Treatments

The list of treatments and conditions is not exhaustive.

If you have any questions about your condition and treatment options, please contact us to discuss a suitable treatment plan.

Routine Foot Care

Professional trimming and shaping of the nails.

6 - 8 weekly appointments are recommended to keep your feet healthy and comfortable.

Corns & Hard Skin

Corns, callus and any hard skin can become painful and cause further complications to the health of the foot if left untreated.  Hard skin is caused by friction, its our body's way of protecting itself.  Removal of the corn or hard skin and finding its cause will help keep you active and more comfortable.

Fungal Skin & Nails

We may all suffer with thickened nails, athletes foot or fungal infections at some point in our lives. There is no need to be embarrassed, the right treatments and advice can help you manage this condition.

Diabetic Foot Care

Regular foot care from a Foot Health Practitioner can help keep your feet healthy, comfortable and prevent further complications from long term health conditions such as diabetes, heart disease, circulatory and other neuropathic diseases.

Ingrown Nails

Early intervention, management and prevention is key, and may be resolved without the need for surgery. Footwear and lifestyle can be a contributing factor and these will be discussed during your appointment.

Verrucae

Verruca are viral, and more common than you think.

Before reaching for the over counter ointments please speak to us to discuss suitable treatment options.

Initial Consultation

On your first appointment, full medical history will be taken and  followed by a full foot health check which includes vascular and neurological assessment. Medical conditions and medications can effect the skin and nails. A copy of your prescription will be useful if you have one.

A treatment plan will then be discussed, agreed and undertaken. The treatment plan can include the trimming and filing of nails, removal of corns, reduction of callus and hard skin, painful or ingrown nail treatment, thickened nail reduction, management of fungal skin or nail infections and verrucae.
